Do the Intel® Linux* PRO Network Adapter Drivers Support ACPI?

Symptom(s):
A Linux* system is having problems routing interrupts with the Intel® PRO Adapter.

Solution:
As the Linux* kernels and distributions integrate ACPI support, it is important to realize there are differences in actual motherboard implementation. Some boards are listed in the ACP blacklist but there are boards not listed that also will not correctly detect certain PCI cards.

The simplest solution is - If you are having problems getting interrupts routed from the PRO network adapter, then try turning off ACPI.

You can monitor interrupts by watching /proc/interrupts. If the interrupts for ethx don't move when you ping to or from the ethx interface, there is potentially a problem interacting with ACPI.
