Firmware upgrade files:

V90_Cxxx.EXE for 16-bit products and V90_Bxxx.EXE for Cardbus products (xxx is the firmware version) - These are self-extracting archive files containing a 32-bit firmware flash upgrade utility (XUPGUT32.EXE) for use on computers running Windows 95/98*, Windows NT 4.0*,Windows 2000* and Windows Me*. They also contain the appropriate firmware data file (xxxxxx.MPK) that contains the released code. These utilities DO NOT have the ability to drop to DOS and flash up a card that currently has old non-AT flashable firmware (older than 1.73).

Models covered by V90_Cxxx.EXE: CEM56, REM56G-10, REM56G-100, RM56G, CM56G, R2M56GA, R2WD

Models covered by V90_Bxxx.EXE: CBEM56G-100, RBEM56G-100 and RBM56G

V90_02.EXE - This is a self-extracting archive file containing a 16-bit firmware flash upgrade utility for use on computers running MS-DOS/Windows 3.x. It's intended for users who are not running a 32-bit platform. This only applies to 16-bit cards (At this time, there is no corresponding file of this type to support the Cardbus modem products). The V90_02.EXE (for 16-bit platforms) DOES NOT support RealPort2 products, due to hardware issues. To upgrade firmware on a RealPort2 Card, install it in a 32-bit environment and use the 32-bit utility.

Models covered by V90_02.EXE: Models covered: CEM56, CM56G, REM56G-10, REM56G-100, RM56G

V90_03.EXE - This applies to the CreditCard Modem 56T (CM56T).

V90_05.EXE - This applies to the CreditCard Modem 56 (CM56) and CreditCard Modem 33.6 Upgradeable (CM33U).

V90_Vxxx.EXE (xxx is the firmware version) - This applies to the RealPort Modem 56 (RM56V1, RM56V2, RM56V3).

The following models do not need a firmware upgrade. Instead, only a driver upgrade is needed.
