Symptom(s):
When placing a Intel® PRO/1000 MT Dual Port Server Adapter into specific IBM* Servers, the adapter will not initialize and will not be seen by the OS.
Solution:
There is a known compatibility issue with some IBM eserver xSeries Servers* and the Intel PRO/1000 MT Dual Port Server Adapter using power management functionality. A complete list of alternate Intel® PRO/1000 Server Adapters is available on IBM's Server Proven* list at the URL link below.
