If you are using Windows* 95, Windows* 98, Windows* Me, or Windows NT* 4.0:
- Click Start, click
Run, and type
"Hypertrm" in the Open
box, and then click OK.
- Type "Test"
in the Name box and click OK.
- Select your Xircom modem in the
Connect using box.
- Enter 12345
in the phone number box and click
OK .
- In the Connect window, click
Cancel . The Terminal screen (white screen) then appears.
- Type ATI3
and press ENTER. The firmware
version will be listed on the end of the line that is
displayed. Note: In some cases, you may not see what you are
typing. Typing ATI3 and pressing
ENTER will still work even though you do
not see what you are typing.
If you are using Windows* 2000:
- Click Start, point
to Settings and click Control
Panel .
- In Control Panel,
double-click Phone and Modem Options .
- In the Phone and Modem Options
box click on the Modems tab.
- Highlight the Xircom modem
and click Properties .
- Click the Diagnostics
tab then click Query Modem .
- In the lower window you will see
several AT commands. Scroll down to ATI3. The firmware
version will be listed on the end of the line of the
'Response' of ATI3.
