Before doing an in-place upgrade from a Windows* OS to a newer Windows OS, Intel recommends that you uninstall the network adapter driver, Intel® PROset, and the advanced networking services (ANS).

After performing the in-place OS upgrade install the latest Intel network driver and advanced features as necessary.
