Fast Ethernet customers have transitioned to the latest Intel® PRO/100 S Mobile and PRO/100 S Combo Mobile adapter. As a result, Intel has made the decision to discontinue the Intel® PRO/100 PC Card Adapter (MBLA1600) and Intel® Mobile LAN+Modem56 PC Card (MBLA1656).

Q1: Why is Intel no longer offering the Intel PRO/100 PC Card Adapter and Intel PRO/100 LAN+Modem PC Card Adapter?
A1: This adapter is being discontinued due to customer preference for the Intel PRO/100 S Mobile Adapter and Intel PRO/100 S Combo Mobile adapters that come in both Type II or RealPort form factors.
Q2: How long will Intel provide drivers for the Intel PRO/100 PC Card or Intel PRO/100 LAN+Modem PC Card Adapter?
A2: The driver suite posted on the Web site will contain drivers for your PC Card adapter.
Q3: How long will Intel provide support for the Intel PRO/100 PC Card adapter or Intel PRO/100 LAN+Modem PC Card Adapter?
A3: Telephone and email support via Intel technicians will continue through December 2003. At this time support will continue through the Web site only.
Q4: What if I have problems with my Intel PRO/100 PC Card adapter or Intel PRO/100 LAN+Modem PC Card Adapter and need an RMA? Will you still honor the warranty?
A4: The Intel PRO/100 PC Card adapter or Intel PRO/100 LAN+Modem PC Card adapter has a Limited Lifetime Warranty which Intel will continue to honor. Adapters replaced under the Warranty will be replaced with the same or similar product. Please see the warranty statement in your user manual for warranty details.
