On July 1, 2011 Intel announced that it will no longer manufacture the Intel® PRO/1000 MF Server Adapter, Intel® PRO/1000 MF Server Adapter LX, and Intel® PRO/1000 PF Quad Port Server Adapter. Effective January 1, 2014, Intel will stop providing interactive support for this adapter. These adapters have a Limited Lifetime Warranty and you will still be able request an RMA for defective parts. See questions and answers below.

Questions:

What if I have problems with my Intel® PRO/1000 MF Server Adapter, Intel® PRO/1000 MF Server Adapter LX, or Intel® PRO/1000 PF Quad Port Server Adapter and need an RMA. Will you still honor the warranty?
Yes. Each Intel® PRO/1000 MF Server Adapter, Intel® PRO/1000 MF Server Adapter LX, and Intel® PRO/1000 PF Quad Port Server Adapter has a limited lifetime warranty. If you need to request an RMA you can do so by going to the RMA form and following the process included in the form.

Where can I get assistance for my Intel® PRO/1000 MF Server Adapter, Intel® PRO/1000 MF Server Adapter LX, or Intel® PRO/1000 PF Quad Port Server Adapter after January 1, 2014?
Effective January 1, 2014, email and phone support will no longer be provided for these adapters. If you need technical support or other information on these adapters you will need to go to the Intel support site. Web based support will end after January 2017.

Does Intel recommend a particular replacement for the Intel® PRO/1000 MF Server Adapter, Intel® PRO/1000 MF Server Adapter LX, and Intel® PRO/1000 PF Quad Port Server Adapter?
