December 31, 2010 Intel stopped providing interactive (phone, email, and chat) support for these adapters.
In January 2009 Intel announced that it will no longer manufacture the Intel® PRO/10GbE SR Server Adapter and the Intel® PRO/10GbE LR Server Adapter.
These adapters have a Limited Lifetime warranty and you will still be able request an RMA for defective parts. See questions and answers below.

What if I have problems with my Intel PRO/10GbE SR/LR Server Adapters and need an RMA. Will you still honor the warranty? Yes. The Intel PRO/10GbE SR/LR Server Adapters have a limited lifetime warranty. If you need to request an RMA you can do so by going to the RMA form and following the process included in the form.
Where can I get assistance for my Intel PRO/10GbE LR/SR Server Adapters after December 2010? Effective January 1, 2011 email and phone support will no longer be provided for these adapters. If you need technical support or other information on the Intel PRO/10GbE LR/SR Server Adapters you will need to get it from the support Web site. Web based support will continue through December 2014.
How long will Intel provide drivers for the Intel PRO/10GbE LR/SR Server Adapters? Intel will no longer test new drivers with the Intel PRO/10GbE LR/SR Server Adapter hardware. The last known good drivers are available from Download Center.
Does Intel recommend another product to replace the Intel PRO/10Gbe LR/SR Server Adapters? Yes. For customers using PCI Express*, the suggested replacement products are the Intel® Ethernet Server Adapter X520 series with support for SFP+ connections.
