Which Intel® PRO/1000 Network Adapters Support BootROM?

Solution:
The Intel® PRO/1000 XT Server Adapter and the Intel® PRO/1000 T Desktop Adapter come with soldered BootROM chips onboard.
The Desktop Adapter is ready out of the box.
The PRO/1000 XT Server Adapter needs the BootROM flashed before PXE or RPL use. (Run BROW -be).
For the earlier PRO/1000 adapters, there is no chip that can provide bootROM functionality if placed in the empty socket on the 82542 and 82543 based adapters. The 10/100 chip will NOT work.
