Symptom(s):
Laptop will no longer boot after upgrading Novell's Client 32 (version 3.21.0.3)
Solution:
To resolve the issue, follow the steps below.
1. Go into the BIOS for the Toshiba Satellite Pro* 4300 computer. To do this, restart the machine and hold down the Escape key (Esc) as the computer shows the Toshiba screen.
2. When prompted, press the F1 key. This will take you to the System Setup screen.
3. Under PC Card Controller Mode, switch from default the "Auto-Selected" setting to "PCIC Compatible". The PC Card Controller Mode setting may be on Page 2. Press END to Save the changes and Exit.
The computer will now continue to boot into Windows*.
