Q1. Why is Intel no longer offering the PRO/1000 T IP Storage Adapter model PWSA8700?
A1. This adapter is replaced with the new PRO/1000 T IP Storage Adapter model PWSA8701T.
Q2. How long will Intel provide drivers for the PRO/1000 T IP Storage Adapter model PWSA8700T?
A2. It is Intel's plan that drivers for the PWSA8701T will continue to be backwards compatible to the PWSA8700T. Drivers that were developed specifically for the PWSA8700T will not be updated.
Q3. Why is Intel no longer offering these products?
A3.These products have been discontinued due to recent changes in market segment conditions.
Q4. How long will Intel provide new drivers for these products?
A4.Intel will not be developing new drivers for these products. Links to information regarding current driver availability can be found on the Intel support site.
Q5. How long will Intel provide support for these products?
A5. Telephone and email support via Intel technicians will continue until, December 31st, 2005. After that time, only Web information will be available.
Q6. What if I have problems with my PRO/1000 T IP Storage Adapter model PWSA8700T and need an RMA. Will you still honor the warranty?
A6. The PRO/1000 T IP Storage Adapter has a Limited Lifetime Warranty, which Intel will continue to honor. Adapters replaced under the Warranty will be replaced with the same or similar product. Please see the warranty statement in your user manual for warranty details.
