When using Microsoft* Direct* X 9.0 SDK to test the video via sending the packets with Intel® PRO/1000 PT Desktop Adapter, frames might be lost resulting to flickering screen and discoloration on the receiving PC. This happens either with a back-to-back connection, or through connetivity to a switch or hub.
To resolve the issue, under the adapter's Advance Settings, set the following:
Interrupt moderation = adaptive Transmit Descriptor = 2048 Receive descriptor = 2048 Flow control: Receiving machine set to "Respond" , Sending machine set to "Generate" TCP/IP Offload Option in Performance Option = OFF
The issue is reported under the following system environment: PC: Two (2) Lenovo® 9439DV7 ThinkCenter PC, each installed with Intel PRO/1000 PT desktop adapter Network Driver/software: PROset version 14.0 Other software: Microsoft DirectX® 9.0 SDK Memory capacity: 2GB or 4GB Video adapter: ATI Radeon™ 2400 Switch Model: Tp-link® SG-RR24P Switch Cable type: CAT 6
