End of Interactive Support Announcement

In September 2005 Intel® announced that it will no longer manufacture the Intel® PRO/1000 MT Desktop Adapter.  Effective May 1, 2007 Intel will stop providing interactive support for this adapter.  These adapters have a Limited Lifetime warranty and you will still be able request an RMA for defective parts.  See questions and answers below.

Note Earlier generations of the Intel PRO/1000 MT Desktop Adapter (part numbers beginning PWLA8390MT) are also end of interactive support AS OF 05/01/2007.


What if I have problems with my Intel PRO/1000 MT Desktop Adapter and need an RMA. Will you still honor the warranty?
Yes.  The Intel PRO/1000 MT Desktop Adapter has a limited lifetime warranty.  If you need to request an RMA you can do so by going to the RMA form and following the process included in the form.

Where can I get assistance for my Intel PRO/1000 MT Desktop Adapter after April 2007?
Effective May 1, 2007 email and phone support will no longer be provided for this adapter.  If you need technical support or other information on the Intel PRO/1000 MT Desktop Adapter you will need to go to the Intel support site.  Web based support will end December 2010.

How long will Intel provide drivers for the Intel PRO/1000 MT Desktop Adapter?
Intel will no longer test new drivers with the Intel PRO/1000 MT Desktop Adapter hardware.  The last known good drivers can be found here.
