October 2010 Intel announced that it will no longer manufacture the Intel® Gigabit ET Quad Port Server Adapter. Effective December 30, 2012 Intel will stop providing interactive support for this adapter. These adapters have a Limited Lifetime Warranty and you will still be able request an RMA for defective parts. See questions and answers below.

Does Intel recommend a particular replacement for the Intel® Gigabit ET Quad Port Server Adapter? Yes, the Intel® Gigabit ET2 Quad Port Server Adapter provides all of the same functionality as its predecessor; it also adds ACS (Access Control Service) support, allowing for usage in direct assignment and SR-IOV environments.
