October 2010 Intel announced that it will no longer manufacture the Intel® Gigabit ET Quad Port Server Adapter. Effective December 30, 2012 Intel will stop providing interactive support for this adapter. These adapters have a Limited Lifetime Warranty and you will still be able request an RMA for defective parts. See questions and answers below.

Yes. The Intel® Gigabit ET Quad Port Server Adapter has a limited lifetime warranty. If you need to request an RMA you can do so by going to the RMA form and following the process included in the form.

Effective December 30, 2012 email and phone support will no longer be provided for this adapter. If you need technical support or other information on the Intel® Gigabit ET Quad Port Server Adapter you will need to go to the Intel support site. Web based support will end after June 2014.
Does Intel recommend a particular replacement for the Intel® Gigabit ET Quad Port Server Adapter?
Yes, the Intel® Gigabit ET2 Quad Port Server Adapter provides all of the same functionality as its predecessor; it also adds ACS (Access Control Service) support, allowing for usage in direct assignment and SR-IOV environments.
