Symptom:
A print job stays active in the Novell* Queue and continues to print over and over until being manually deleted from Pconsole. When examining the print job via Pconsole, the number of copies indicated is zero. Zero is not a valid parameter for Novell print jobs submitted using Capture or Nprint. Valid Parameters are 1 - 65000.
Description:
Customer is using NetWare* aware application (Paradox). This application does not submit jobs using the Novell printing utilities such as Capture or Nprint. The application is allowed to insert an invalid print job configuration through its own submission process.
Solution:
Configure the NetportExpress™ print server as a remote printer using Novell's Pserver.
