The Core Server Activation can be done in two ways :
(1) If connected to the internet, activation is seamless. Just click on the "ACTIVATE" button (see figure below) & the activation server will respond with the corresponding license key.
(2) If the server is not connected to the internet, a dialog box will appear (see below) stating that it was not able to send the activation files to the server. A manual activation will then be required.
(2.1) Locate the file generated by the application. This is located under
"\program files\landesk\authorization files".
(2.2) Send the file via email as an attachment to "licensing@landesk.com"
(2.3) Within a period of 5 minutes or less, the activation server will send a respond back
with the authentication file.
(2.4) Save the authentication file into the directory "\program files\landesk\authorization files"
(2.5) Your core server is now activated.
