Installation Guides for Backplane Board (FMJBACKPLANE and FMJBACKPLANE2) [PDF]

These documents describe how to install the FMJBACKPLANE (Revision 1) and FMJBACKPLANE2 (Revision 2) Backplane Boards into the Intel® Storage System SSR316MJ2.

The FMJBACKPLANE is the backplane board used in the Intel® Storage System SSR316MJ2 equipped with three SATA controllers (Revision 1 storage system; MM# 862213).

The FMJBACKPLANE2 is the backplane board used in the Intel® Storage System SSR316MJ2 equipped with two SATA controllers (Revision 2 storage system; MM# 874024).

While the backplane boards themselves are the same for the Revision 1 and Revision 2 versions of the Intel® Storage System SSR316MJ2, there are cable connection and jumper configuration differences.
