Symptom(s):
Intel® Storage System SS4000-E GUI web pages are not displayed properly.
Cause:
Microsoft Internet Explorer* Enhanced Security Configuration is enabled by default in Microsoft Windows 2003*. Only “pure” .html pages can pass through this security setting. Because the Web GUI uses JavaScript, you will not be able to display web pages properly.
Solution:
To properly view the Web GUI web pages, do the following to add the IP address of the storage system to the Trusted Site list:
Open the “Tools” menu from your Microsoft Internet Explorer*and select “Internet Options.”
Select the “Security” tab and highlight the “Trusted Sites” icon.
Click the “Sites” button.
Enter the IP address of the storage system in the “Add this Web site to the zone” field. Select “Add.”
Select “Close.”
Click on “OK” to close the “Internet Options” window.
