The Hardware User's Guide incorrectly states the number of hard disk drives supported through an expander device as eight. The controller can be connected to up to four disk drives directly and allows the use of expanders to connect up to sixteen disk drives.
This will be corrected in a future release of the Hardware User's Guide.
