The Intel® Server Platform S870BN4 Board Set Technical Product Specification (TPS) provides the specifications for the Intel Server Platform SR870BN4 set. This system is designed to utilize the first microprocessor based on the Intel® Itanium® Processor Family architecture, known as the Itanium® 2 Processor. The Itanium 2 Processor expands the Intel® Architecture (IA) with new levels of performance and features. The Intel Server Platform SR870BN4 design is based on the Intel® E8870 chip set.
