Intel® Server Board SE7500WV2
Server Will Not Power ON - Connecting 12V Power Connector to the Server Board

The Intel® Server Board SE7500WV2 has specific requirements for the power sequencing and limits. The power supply used must be either ATX12V or EPS12V design, otherwise the SE7500WV2 server board will not operate. These power supplies provide the additional power lead of 4-pin (or 8-pin) +12 volt connector. The additional 4-pin (or 8-pin) +12V (see figure A below) connector from the Intel® Server Chassis SR1300 or SR2300 should be connected to the processor power connector located at J4J1 (see figure B below), otherwise the system will not boot.

Note : Do not use a standard ATX power supply. The board will not boot with a standard ATX power supply.
