There are six standard ATX fan headers and one fan pack header on the Intel® Server Board SCB2. Because the boxed Intel® Pentium® III processor with 512k cache provides a fan heatsink with its own fan speed control circuitry built in, the SCB2 was designed with no fan speed control circuitry at the processor fan heatsink header locations. With the board oriented so that the processor sockets are closest to you, the fan headers are numbered one through six from the right to the left and the fan pack header all the way to the left next to the main power connector. The table below identifies the fan header, what it is intended for and whether or not it provides fan speed control.
