Memory Cooling Kit is required with 1GB and higher of total system memory

If one or more memory modules are used and total system memory is 1 GB or higher on Intel® Server Board SE7320SP2 and Intel® Server Board SE7525GP2 in either Intel® Server Chassis SC5275-E or Intel® Server Chassis SC5300 (SC5300BASE only), then the memory cooling kit FSWMEMFAN (MM# 852787) is required.

The memory cooling kit is part number FSWMEMFAN (MM# 852787), and is available from your distributor and from Industry Education’s* pay-for-spares online store.

Integration Notes: The memory fan should be connected to the SYS_FAN_1 header. For the fan to be properly instrumented it requires FRU/SDR version 1.40 or later is required.
