Choosing the Correct Processor and Appropriate BIOS Revision for Your System

The Intel® Server Board SE7320SP2 and Intel® Server Board SE7525GP2 are designed to support one or two Intel® Xeon® processors utilizing an 800MHz Front Side Bus with frequencies starting at 2.8 GHz. Previous generations of Intel Xeon processors are not supported on either of these server boards.

The server board is designed to provide current up to 120A per processors. Processors with higher current requirements are not supported.

Be sure to review the Supported Processor page for a complete list of supported processors for this server board.

Please also be sure to download the newest BIOS. BIOS revision P07 or higher is required to support Intel® Xeon® processors in the N0 stepping. And BIOS revision P05 or higher is required to support Intel® Xeon® processors in the E0 stepping.
