Controller Default Settings

The following are the default settings for Intel® RAID controller:

Chn. SCSI-A: Domain Validation On
Periodic Parity Verify None

This setting is dependent upon the specific RAID controller. It cannot be changed via software configuration. Some controllers can be changed via jumpers. Some controllers are permanently terminated and cannot be changed.

The following 'Advanced Settings' should not be changed by end-user:

Figure 1 shows where you can view and edit the current settings of the RAID controller using Storage Console (StorCon). Figure 2 shows where you can view the current settings of the RAID controller in Storage Console Plus (StorCon+). Figure 3 and 4 show where you can edit the current settings of the RAID controller using StorCon+. Consult the RAID Software Guide for instructions on using the StorCon and StorCon+ utilities.
