Booting Windows* 2003 with "/PAE" and Intel® RAID Controller SRCZCR

Symptom(s):

When running the Intel® RAID Controller SRCZCR with a server > 4GB of memory, enabling the "/PAE" option can cause the system to reboot or get a Windows* blue screen.

Cause:
The driver included with the Windows* 2003 release does not address properly beyond 4GB of system memory.

Solution:

The updated driver for Windows* 2000/XP/2003 fixes the memory addressing beyond 4GB of memory.
