After system integration of processors, memory, or other peripherals it is important to update the system firmware to the latest version available. The system cover must be installed during this process. Once the update is complete, system fans should return to normal operation in a few minutes.
During the process, the FRUSDR updates the Sensor Data Record information based on the current configuration. This update enables the BMC (baseboard management controller) to properly monitor temperatures, fans, and sensors in the system.
