Intel® RAID Premium Features key are used to enable premium RAID Features on Intel® RAID Controllers and Modules. Intel® RAID Premium Features key are available to provide SSD Cache with Fastpath, Encryption Management, and Snapshot premium features.
The Feature Key is designed to plug onto an Intel® RAID Controller or Module that has a RAID Premium Features key connector on it. The Intel® RAID Premium Features key must remain attached to the connector in order to enable the premium feature.

1 The Intel® RAID SSD Cache Controllers RCS25ZB040 & RCS25ZB040LX utilize a firmware based version of Intel ® SSD Cache 2.0 software to enable the built-in Flash modules to be used as data cache devices . Therefore, the AXXRPFKSSD2 (SSD Cache with Fastpath) would not be applicable for these controllers.
