When the BIOS setting, EFI Optimized Boot in Boot Options, is set to Enabled, the following occur:
- The BIOS does not detect the add-in Intel® RAID controller or module.
- Unable to install an operating system into a GPT (GUID Partition Table) partition disk on the Intel® RAID controller under the UEFI environment.
This issue is a known limitation in the BIOS of the Intel® Server Board S1200BT family and there is no solution available.
