After upgrading the system from an earlier BIOS to BIOS 58, the user might see a processor frequency downgrade in the BIOS setup page, shell environment and operating systems. Doing an AC cycle after the BIOS update may increase the failure rate.

To recover from this issue, update the system BIOS to 59 or later versions.
