Can I use any RAID card or cables?
Do not use a RAID card with ports facing the heatsink with straight SATA cables, as pictured below. Use 90-degree cables to avoid issues.
How can I remove the LAN cable?
The chassis design may not allow sufficient room to reach the plastic release latch on most cables. Use a flathead screwdriver or similar tool to release the catch. Do not pull the cable with excessive force, as that may damage both the cable and connector.
The Intel® Server System SR1695WB has a green lever to release LAN cables plugged into that connector
