Does the Intel® Gigabit ET Dual Port and Quad Port Server Adapters work in the Intel® S5000PAL?
Answer:
The Intel® Gigabit ET Dual Port Server Adapter E1G42ET, Intel® Gigabit ET Quad Port Server Adapter E1G44ET and Intel® Gigabit EF Dual Port Server Adapter E1G42EF are not on the hardware compatibility list for the Intel® S5000PAL motherboard.

After testing an E1G42ET and an E1G44ET in a S5000PAL with Windows 2003* Server 32-Bit, both of the adapters worked with the Intel® PROSet version 14.0. Both cards were tested in the PCI-E* x8 slot with only that slot populated.
