Pressing F2 may no longer enter BIOS setup, if a single hard drive is removed and an optical drive is added. To work around this issue:
- Power off the system, but DO NOT unplug the AC power.
- Remove the HDD from the bay
- Enter BIOS and press F9 to load the optimized default settings
- Install the optical drive
- Power on, and press F2 to enter the BIOS and change the boot order from hard disk to optical
- To return to a single hard drive and remove the optical drive, once again use F9 after removing the primary boot device.
