Microsoft* Windows Server* 2008 operating system is undergoing validation for Intel® Server Boards and Systems.  The below table lists the status for each board.

Microsoft* Windows Server 2008 will not be supported by the following:

• Intel® Server Boards based on SE7520, SE7320, or SE7525 chipsets
• Intel® Pentium® D Processor-based Servers
• Intel® Pentium® 4 Processor-based Servers
• Intel® Enterprise Blade Server Family
• Intel® Celeron® D Processor-based Servers

Note:
Only board names appear on the list.  If you are unsure which board your system is built on:

1. Go to Server Products
2. Click on your product name
3. Note the board name listed in bold above the associated products

For example, clicking on Intel® Server Board S5000XSL shows that it is an associated product for the Intel® Server Board S5000PSL

The Intel® Server System SR2500ALLX is an associated product for the Intel® Server Board S5000PAL
