Adaptec* Configuration Utility Reporting Degraded RAID Array

Symptom(s):

Two Serial ATA hard drives configured using the Adaptec* HostRAID Configuration Utility is reporting a degraded RAID array upon system reboot either during or just after installation of the operating system.

Cause:
Required a new option ROM for the Serial ATA controller.

Solution:
This issue was fixed in BIOS Production release P14. If you have encountered this issue we encourage you to download the latest BIOS (P14 or higher).
