Listed below are the boxed processors that are supported on the Intel® Server Board S815EBM1.

Note Not all processors supported on the Server Board S815EBM1 can use the active heatsink included with the board. This heatsink is only for use in a 1U chassis with processors that have an Integrated Heat Spreader (IHS). Please refer to the Readme sheet included with the Server Board S815EBM1 for an explanation of which processors may use the Fan Heat Sink included with the Server Board S815EBM1.

All other processors should use the heatsink included with the processor. For 1U implementations the user needs to validate the cooling solution for their configuration.

Note *Support of the 1GHz Pentium III processor is dependent upon the package type. The S815EBM1 Fan Heat Sink (FHS) included in the boxed board supports only FCPGA2 packaging type. Customers can determine S815EBM1 support at this speed by product's specification.
