Cannot enter BIOS if all bootable options are disabled or removed

The board or system may hang on "Entering SETUP . . ." if only one Boot Option is enabled, and that device is physically removed.

For example, if Boot Option #1 is set to a hard drive, Boot Option #2 and #3 are set to [Disabled], and the system is shut down and that hard drive is removed, the system will not be able to boot into the BIOS.

To resolve this issue:

  1. Temporarily connect a USB device. This will add another item Boot Options, and allow you back in.
    OR
  2. Clear the CMOS using jumper J1D3. This will reset Boot Options back to the factory defaults.

To keep the issue from recurring:

  1. Do not remove devices that are set as the only Boot Option.
    OR
  2. Leave [EFI Shell] as one of the Boot Options.
