Intel® Matrix Storage Manager works with BIOS R34 or later on Intel® Server Board S3000AH (all SKUs) with Microsoft Windows*.

Follow these steps to use Intel® Matrix Storage SATA RAID:

1. Upgrade the BIOS to R34 or later.
2. During POST, press <F2> to enter the BIOS setup screen.
3. Select the Advanced menu > IDE Controller > Enable SATA RAID, to display the SATA RAID OPROM setting.
4. In the SATA RAID OPROM* setting, select Intel Matrix Storage.
5. Press <F10> to save and exit.
6. Download the Intel Matrix Storage driver for Windows. See the Readme file for more information on how to use the driver.

   Note Select the Intel® 82801GR/GH SATA RAID Controller (Desktop ICH7R/DH) when prompted by the operating system.

• High-performance Serial ATA RAID 0 arrays
• Fault-tolerant Serial ATA RAID 1 arrays

• High performance and fault-tolerant Serial ATA RAID 10 arrays on supported chipsets using select operating systems.
