The AXXTM3SATA accessory (MM# 903639) must be used to add SSD hard drives to the Intel® Modular Server Systems MFSYS25,  MFSYS25V2, or MFSYS35.

Attaching the board and bracket assembly to a 2.5" Solid-State Drive (SSD) or a 2.5" Serial ATA (SATA) hard drive converts the single port SATA interface into a dual port SAS interface.
 
The drive can now be accessed by both storage control modules if they are installed. It also changes the activity LEDs to match the behavior of SAS hard drives.
