Two things determine processor speeds that are supported on the Intel® LB440GX 2U rack mount server platform: Product code and BIOS version. The product code is located on the bottom of the chassis on a white label, or on the white label located on the short edge of the shipping box. You can also determine the product code by taking the top of the chassis off and comparing the PBA# of the baseboard to the following table. The PBA# is found on a small white label near the outer edge of the baseboard.

Once you know the product code, use the following table to determine the supported processors. You will need the BIOS version listed (#) or better to support the particular speed. For example, to support the Pentium® III 600E processor, the product code will need to be SLWBRF5 and the BIOS will need to be version 9.1 or better.
