Intel® L440GX+ Server Board
Latest BIOS

The current Intel® L440GX+ Server Board production BIOS is (version 14.3), BMC 1.24 and FRUSDR 4.2.3.

Note: You must upgrade the Hot Swap firmware if you are using the Intel® Astor II Server Chassis. You must do this prior to installing this BIOS or the Hot Swap bay will not function.

The recommended BIOS upgrade method is as follows:

  1. CMOS clear
  2. BMC Upgrade
  3. HSC Upgrade
  4. BIOS
  5. FRU/SDR
  6. CMOS clear
The latest drivers include support for the Cirrus Logic* GD5480 graphics controller, Intel® PRO/100+ LAN Adapter, and the Adaptec* AIC-7896 SCSI controller. No additional drivers are required for Windows* 2000.

The Software Update Package version 2.0 contains the BIOS, BMC,and FRUSDR. Please follow this link for details.
