Intel completed the validation of a drop in baffling thermal solution with the Intel® ISP1100 Internet Server Platform to enable the use of Intel® Pentium® III processors running at 700 MHz and above. The ISP1100 does not support the Pentium III processor above 850 MHz.
The thermal processor baffling solution must be used when running the ISP1100 with clock speeds between 700 MHz and
850 MHz. Running the system without the thermal baffling at processor speeds 800 MHz and 850 MHz will void warranty support. Warranty support could also be voided if running the system without the thermal baffling at processor speeds above 700 MHz on some processors.
