The Intel® Entry Server Chassis SR1350-E is designed for use with slim line floppy, CD-ROM, or DVD-ROM drives. The slim line drives listed below were tested with the Intel Entry Server Chassis SR1350-E, and are considered supported.
NOTICE: The Intel® Entry Server Chassis SR1350-E does not ship with a floppy, CD-ROM, or DVD-ROM backplane board and cable(s) that are required for installing a floppy drive, CD-ROM drive, or DVD-ROM drive. It is necessary to purchase the kit separately. A floppy/CD-ROM cable & board kit (AKACDFLOPPY) is also available through Industry Education’s* pay-for-spares online store.
Supported Slim Line Drives:
The Intel® Entry Server Chassis SR1350-E should be using with one of these three baseboards: Intel® Server Board SE7501CW2, Intel® Server Board SE7501BR2 or Intel® Server Board SE7501HG2. Please get the customer DVD drives that are listed on below Tested Hardware and Operating System Lists for the specific baseboard their systems are using.

- This server chassis does not come with the backplane board and cable that is required for installing a floppy drive, CD-ROM drive, or DVD-ROM drive. To install one of these drives, it is necessary to purchase the backplane board and cable kit separately.
