The Intel® T440BX (NL440BX) Server Board has three dual in-line memory module (DIMM) sockets that support up to 768 MB of SDRAM. The BIOS automatically detects the memory type, size and speed through the Serial Presence Detect (SPD) EEPROM on the DIMM devices. The Intel® T440BX (NL440BX) Server Board supports the following memory features:
- 168-pin DIMMs with gold-plated contacts
- Unbuffered 66MHz 72 bit with ECC SDRAM DIMMs
- Unbuffered 66MHz 64 bit with Non-ECC SDRAM DIMMs
- Unbuffered 100MHz 72 bit with ECC SDRAM DIMMs
- Unbuffered 100MHz 64 bit with Non-ECC SDRAM DIMMs
- Registered 100MHz 72 bit with ECC SDRAM DIMMs
- Adhere to the PC/100 SDRAM DIMM 0.9 or 1.0 specification
- Adhere to the PC/100 Unbuffered DIMM specification
- 3.3v memory only
- Single or double-sided DIMMs
