Intel® Desktop Boards support the following power supply specifications:
- ATX12V version 2.0
- SFX12V version 3.0
- TFX12V version 2.0
Features include:
- 2x12 (24-pin) supporting both 2x10 (20-pin) and 2x12 (24-pin) power cables
- Serial ATA (SATA) connectors are required to support SATA hard drives
- Additional 1x4 power connector to provide additional 12-volt power
Connecting 2x12 Power Supply Cables If you have a 2x12 power supply:
- Connect the 12V processor core voltage power supply cable to the 2x2 connector.
- Connect the main power supply cable to the 2x12.
Connecting 2x10 Power Supply Cables The 2x12 main power connector on the desktop board is backwards compatible with ATX12V power supplies with 2x10 power connections.
- Connect the 12V processor core voltage power supply cable to the 2x2 connector.
- Connect the main power supply cable to the 2x12 connector.
