When BIOS is changed - new hardware detected after loading device drivers

This is caused when the BIOS Setup program resets of the device enumeration table. Windows* 2000 on the first reboot of your computer will detect some devices as new hardware. If this occurs, all drivers will be located and installed. However, you will need to reinstall the USB 2.0 drivers.

A new BIOS revision is available for these Intel® Desktop Boards that prevents this from occurring. Download and install the BIOS updates revision, available at the links listed below.
