Boxed Intel® Desktop Boards D850MD, D850MV, D845BG, D845HV, D845PT and D845WN do not have chassis fan control; therefore the fans will not turn off during normal operation.
The hardware management features enable the boards to be compatible with the Wired for Management (WfM) specification.
The board has several hardware management features, including the following:
Fan speed monitoring of (2) fans; includes processor fan & one chassis fan.
Thermal & voltage monitoring
