Care must be taken when installing AGP Card into an AGP slot

When installing any AGP card in a desktop board please ensure that that it is fully seated in the AGP connector before turning on the system. If the card is not fully seated in the AGP connector, it may result in an electrical short across the AGP slot pins. Depending on the over-current protection of the power supply, certain board components and/or traces may be damaged.
