Triple display configurations

Intel® NUC Kits D54250WYK, D54250WYKH, D34010WYK, D34010WYKH and Intel® NUC Boards D54250WYB, D34010WYB
For this Multi-Stream Transport (daisy-chained) configurations, all displays and cables must support the DisplayPort 1.2 specification. Daisy-chaining describes the ability to connect multiple monitors using a single connection between each one.

First display
  • HDMI on Intel NUC connected to HDMI or DVI on monitor/TV
  • Max resolution: 1920x1200 @ 60 Hz
Second display
  • Mini-DisplayPort on Intel NUC connected to DisplayPort on monitor/TV
  • Max resolution: 3840x2160 @ 30 Hz
Third display
  • DisplayPort cable daisy-chains first DisplayPort monitor/TV to second DisplayPort monitor/TV
  • Max resolution: 3840x2160 @ 30 Hz

Intel® NUC Kit DC53427HYE and Intel® NUC Board D53427RKE
In this configuration, the two displays that you connect to the mini DisplayPort ports must be native DisplayPort-capable. Adapters that change DisplayPort to HDMI or DVI will not work. It is also best that the first display be HDMI without any adapters.

First display
  • HDMI on Intel NUC connected to HDMI or DVI on monitor/TV
  • Max resolution: 1920x1200
Second display
  • Mini-DisplayPort 1 on Intel NUC connected to DisplayPort on monitor/TV
  • Max resolution: 1920x1200
Third display
  • Mini-DisplayPort 2 on Intel NUC connected to DisplayPort on monitor/TV
  • Max resolution: 1920x1200

Customer Report: triple display on the Intel NUC Kit DC53427HYE works with the following configuration:

  • First display: VGA monitor connected to DisplayPort 1 with a DP-to-VGA cable adapter (QVS* MDPV-MF)
  • Second display: VGA monitor connected to DisplayPort 2 with a DP-to-VGA cable adapter (QVS MDPV-MF)
  • Third display: HDMI monitor connected to the HDMI port with an HDMI cable
