Failure to use the appropriate power supply (below) with Intel® 945G and 945P Express Chipset-based Intel Desktop Boards and/or not connecting the 12 V (2x2) power connector to the desktop board may result in damage to the board, or the system may not function properly.

Connecting 2x12 Power Supply Cables
Use of a power supply providing a 2x12 power connector is recommended. The figure below shows the location of the power connectors for a 2x12 power supply.
- Connect the 12 V processor core voltage power supply cable to the 2x2 connector.
- Connect the main 2x12 power supply cable to the 2x12 connector.
